Kreman Named CEO OF DTD

International president Jim Garboden announced on June 26 the appointment of Jack C. Kreman (University of Nebraska at Kearney, 2004) as the Fraternity’s new chief executive officer.
“On behalf of the Fraternity’s Board of Directors, I am pleased to see Delta Tau Delta move forward with a proven talent at the Central Office. I have known Jack for a long time. His skills are many, and his commitment to the mission and values of Delta Tau Delta is unquestioned.”

I was a swimmer in high school and wanted to swim in college, so gravitated to swimmers automatically. I also was taking some classes freshman year with Sophomores who were in the fraternity and they made it sound like a great organization. At decision day I had multiple bids, but in the end decided to go with the Delts and have absolutely no regrets. Find out what Brother Grimes describes as your “North Star.”
Delts Awarded at Honors Day Celebration

James Carr ’62, (pictured second from left), received an honorary doctorate of laws at Kenyon’s Honors Day celebration on April 10, 2018. Brother Carr is a senior U.S. district judge for the Northern District of Ohio. He majored in German and English at Kenyon, served as captain of the swim team and also won the Anderson Cup before graduating magna cum laude. He graduated from Harvard Law School and was appointed a district judge by President Bill Clinton in 1994. Carr has also presided as a judge of the Foreign Intelligence Surveillance Court. He has served Kenyon as a member of the Board of Trustees and Alumni Council. Find out who the other recipients were.

Chapter Eternal- Peter S. Carlson ’66

Peter S. Carlson ’66, on Nov. 23, 2017 on Nov. 15, 2017. He was 73 and a resident of Potomac, resident of Grand Junction, Colorado, Maryland.
Born in Brooklyn, NY, Peter grew up in Dover, OH. HE majored in Biology at Kenyon, swam with the Varsity Swimming Team, sand with the Kenyon Singers, and joined the Delta Tau Delta Fraternity. After spending his junior year at the American University of Beruit, Lebanon, he returned to win Kenyon’s Maxwell Elliot Power Prize in Biology and graduate Magna Cum Laude as a member of Phi Beta Kappa.
Chapter Eternal- The Very Rev. Walter H. Taylor ’60

The Very Rev. Walter H. Taylor Passed away on Dec. 2, 2017. He was 79-years-old, and a resident of Lenox, Mass.
Walt was born in Cincinnati and was raised there, along with Massachusetts and Georgia. He majored in History at Kenyon, and served as president of his freshman and junior classes, as co-editor of the Collegian, and as a member of the Appeals Board and the Panhellenic Council. He joined Delta Tau Delta Fraternity, which elected him its president for his junior and senior years. He earned his degree Magna Cum Laude, with high honors in his major, and won election to Phi Betta Kappa.
